Britney is a Speech-Language Pathologist practicing in rural Manitoba, working with students spanning Pre-K-12, from 3 to 21 years old. She committed to promoting language and literacy skills, and recognizing their pivotal role in educational success and overall well-being.

Currently, she has been involved in transitioning practices to a Response to Intervention (RTI) model, with a particular emphasis on universal screening for speech, language, and literacy, coupled with early intervention for identified students. She has a passion for evidence-based practice and a dedication to supporting individuals with communication and literacy needs. She actively collaborated with fellow SLPs to advocate for systemic change in education, particularly in the realm of literacy.
