The International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP) is the non-profit worldwide organization of professionals and scientists in communication, voice, speech language pathology, audiology, and swallowing.
As part of a strong international partnership with IALP, SAC members have access to the journal Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica (Karger), a forum for international research on the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of structures of the speech, language, swallowing, and hearing mechanisms. In addition to free online access to all issues of the journal going back to its start in 1947, SAC members also have free access to selected articles from other related journals in the Karger portfolio. This collection, curated from journals such as Gerontology, European Neurotology, and Audiology and Neurotology, contains articles on such topics as ASD, cochlear implants, and age-related speech issues.
