Tiered Service Delivery in Schools: Advancing Evidence and Practice

In this workshop, the presenter will share findings from recently completed research funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education, which generated knowledge about tiered service delivery in Ontario schools, synthesized evidence from international peer-reviewed literature and informed the development of a practical, ready-to-use toolkit to support school-based, tiered service delivery.

Learning objectives:

  1. Describe the rationale, evidence and types of services offered in school-based tiered models.
  2. Identify potential outcomes of and ideal conditions for implementing tiered services in schools.
  3. Learn practical strategies to support collaboration with educators and families for implementation of tiered services in schools.
