Population-based Screening: How Can We Bridge the Hearing Gap with Hard-to-Reach Groups?

The language used in the descriptions reflects the language of the sessions.

As audiologists, we understand the importance of early identification of hearing loss, timely intervention and management -- yet there are populations who are never seen due to social or geographic isolation. But what if there are technological developments that would allow us to provide hearing services to these hard-to-reach groups?

This session features speakers from a variety of specialties who will share their work on screening applications for general clinical practice and for use in remote settings. Delegates will learn about innovative tools that are available to help improve accessibility to hearing services for unseen and underserved populations.
