The WHO has released Rehabilitation in health systems: guide for action, a new tool for promoting rehabilitation services. This resource aims to help countries improve the availability, accessibility, affordability and quality of rehabilitation services, needed to help people overcome difficulties in their everyday lives. Rehabilitation is a set of interventions to improve thinking, seeing, hearing, communicating, moving and other functions and is a key strategy for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
