Join the International Federation on Ageing’s (IFA) town hall discussion on the impact of COVID-19 among older people, their hearing loss and communication accessibility.

The COVID-19 pandemic has undeniably disrupted communication channels, significantly impacting not only social connections, but also access to evidence-based, reliable public health information and services which are critical during this time.

In an attempt to address and lessen these impacts now and for the future, the IFA is hosting a virtual town hall featuring SAC members Prof. Kathy Pichora-Fuller and Ms. Marilyn Reed. Throughout the townhall, these audiology experts will explore and address the significant challenges being experienced by older people and those with hearing loss.

The townhall will take place on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. EST. There is no cost to attend.
