Researchers from the University of Waterloo, the University of Manitoba, McMaster University and the University of California at Los Angeles are interested in developing an intervention to improve hydration for residents living in long-term care and retirement homes. They are currently conducting a survey to understand which interventions (e.g., beverage service between meals, screening for dehydration) stakeholders consider to be feasible and acceptable for long-term care and retirement homes. This study has been approved by the University of Waterloo Research Ethics Committee.

Those who work in residential settings or conduct research in this setting are invited to participate in the online survey: http://bit.ly/hydrationstakeholdersurvey . (Survey closes April 17)  The questionnaire will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Participants will have a 1 in 10 chance of winning a $25 gift certificate.
