Have you registered for the congenital CMV Research & Innovations Webinar Series?
How much do Audiologists & SLPs really know about the prevalence of congenital CMV infection and its impacts on hearing, communication, learning and motor skill development?
We will be offering 5 webinars the week of August 31 - September 4th at 12 EDT/9 PDT, hosted by the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management and the CMV Public Health and Policy Conference.
These free presentations are a great opportunity for our professions to see the inspiring faces of cCMV and to increase their knowledge of the number one cause of non-genetic hearing loss and infant disability! Each session will share a family’s story with CMV, followed by a presentation and time for Q&A. This will be a small sample of the excellent work that will be presented at our postponed 2021 conference, which will be held in Ottawa August 22-24, 2021.
Have you heard that Ontario recently became the first jurisdiction in the world to offer universal newborn screening for congenital CMV? Come and learn why so many families and professionals from around the world are celebrating this important public health & policy enhancement to EHDI & newborn screening programs.
See attached poster for more information or register here and please forward to anyone you think may be interested.
CMV Canada will also be hosting a series of free, biweekly webinars in partnership with the CMV Public Health & Policy Conference starting on September 16.
