Level: Intermediate (Assumes general familiarity with the literature and professional practice within the areas covered)
The webinar will summarize current evidence-based treatments for school-aged children. This presentation will be supplemented with case examples. The webinar will also identify realistic goals for working with teachers and parents, providing case examples as well. Participants will be presented with a variety of treatments and will be able to start to prepare goals for school-aged children who stutter, including a plan for reducing stuttering and attending to cognitive/emotional factors. Participants will be able to identify objectives for interactions with parents and teachers in treating stuttering in a school-aged population.
