SAC recently announced changes to its certification program. The objective of the presentation is provide an overview of the changes to the certification program as well as provide information on how to become certified and how to recertify if your certification has lapsed. Most importantly, it is an opportunity to respond to questions specific to your personal situation on how certification will fit in your career path, given the changes in the regulatory environment and the new entry-to-practice exam requirements.

Christiane Ménard has worked at SAC since January 2019, replacing Lauren Mann, Manager of Certification and Exams, during her maternity leave. Christiane has over 25 years of experience working in national professional and trade associations. She served as Executive Director at the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists for 10 years prior to joining SAC. She has also worked at the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association of Canada. Over the years she has acquired solid knowledge and broad experience in setting national professional standards, including credentialing, certification and accreditation.
