This webinar will provide information to communication health assistants working with pre-school and school-aged children to build articulation skills throughout the intervention journey. The purpose of this webinar is to provide the communication health assistant with ideas for immediate application in therapy to support both the child and care-giver.
- Understand how to sequence the therapy session activities for optimal success
- Learn how to move from establishment to carry-over and generalization of new speech skills
- Generate a range of therapy activities which support learning of the speech goals
- Develop care-giver learning skills for home-practice
Debra Goshulak works at The Speech and Stuttering Institute with children with severe motor speech disorders. She has conducted numerous published research studies and has presented on motor speech disorders at community, provincial, national and international conferences, including “Motor Speech Service Delivery Pathway” training. Debra also instructs PROMPT Institute workshops.
