Within an evidence-based practice framework clinical practice should integrate the best available evidence and clinical expertise as it applies to the individual. However, speech-language pathologists and audiologists are often frustrated with the mismatch between published data and their specific clinical context. The goal of this Lunch & Learn is to provide concrete steps to developing a clinical research study from the formulation of a specific research question, to data collection and analysis to applying the results. We will also discuss strategies that contribute to the success of these projects.
