Through the signing of declarations with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), health leaders in British Columbia have committed to building a culturally safe health system, developing cultural humility and fostering an environment of cultural safety. Given the current landscape of reconciliation in Canada, there is an opportunity to explore cultural safety and humility together through a First Nations approach — to transform the present by learning from the lessons of the past, thereby building a better future. Join us for an opportunity to learn about FNHA’s vision and tools for a safe and humble health system in BC and how these lessons can be applied more broadly.
