Vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMPs) testing has become standard in assessing vestibular function, particularly otolithic. Cervical VEMPs, recorded from the sternocleidomastoid muscle and ocular VEMPs, recorded from the inferior oblique muscle, can be evoked by air conduction sound and bone conduction vibration. This webinar focuses on how modifying and combining clinical protocols, while recognizing possible sources of technical problems and interferences, allows the clinician to increase test sensitivity and specificity and to obtain relevant information for the differential diagnosis of vestibular disorders.
