Dysarthria is a common, and often the presenting, symptom of progressive neurologic disease. This webinar will provide an overview of several neurologic conditions and the dysarthria associated with each. It will review patient complaints and speech and non-speech features associated with each condition and offer general principles for managing dysarthria in progressive neurologic conditions.

- discuss hallmark features of several progressive neurologic conditions;
- develop a differential diagnosis based on speech features and supported by patient complaints and non-speech features; and
- describe principles for managing dysarthria in progressive neurologic disease.
