Congenital Cytomegalovirus (cCMV) is the most common non-genetic cause of hearing loss in infants. cCMV is also a leading cause of neurological delays and disabilities. With universal newborn screening for cCMV rolling out across Canada, audiologists and speech-language pathologists will see an increasing number of children with a cCMV diagnosis. In this webinar, we will introduce what audiologists and speech-language pathologists need to know to be better prepared to serve affected families.

- Describe cCMV infection and its impact on affected children and families.
- Understand how cCMV is managed across Canada and how to find out more about service pathways in their own province.
- Adopt best practices for serving the diverse spectrum of clients affected by cCMV.
