Universal design for learning (UDL) is a framework for supporting inclusive education. We performed a scoping review to determine how UDL is described and implemented by allied health professionals (AHPs) in schools. Findings show that AHPs are implementing UDL in a variety of ways; however, they are not using the same language as educators or explicitly connecting what they do to the UDL framework. Our findings provide a broad understanding of how AHPs describe and implement UDL-aligned services in school settings. Overall, UDL is a promising framework for guiding collaboration between AHPs and educators, but more research is needed.
