Audiology, like most of the health sciences professions, has been working on integrating evidence-based practice principles since the mid-1990s. However, adoption of best practice has been varied. Knowledge and Implementation in Pediatric Audiology (KiPA) is a group of clinicians and researchers who identify gaps in clinical practice and look to develop feasible solutions to manage them. In this presentation, we review current pediatric audiology practice gaps and discuss KiPA’s research projects aimed at addressing them. We invited audience members to share their perspectives on best practice and their thoughts on the future of pediatric audiology.
