Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who has a passion for working with children and can provide care within our School‐Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) program. The School-Based Rehabilitation Services program provides Occupation Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech-Language Pathology services to school-aged children and youth in the Algoma District. The successful SLP will be responsible for completing assessments and intervention with children and youth presenting with speech sound, motor speech, fluency, and voice disorders or difficulties.

CASLPO Mentorship/Supervision is available.

THRIVE Child Development Centre/Centre de développement de l’enfant is an incorporated, non-profit Children’s Treatment Centre providing inter-disciplinary pediatric rehabilitation, respite care coordination, an on-site childcare program and resource support to community childcare centres in Sault Ste. Marie and throughout the District of Algoma.  

This SLP SBRS position is available in full-time or part-time permanent capacity in the city of Sault Ste Marie. District positions in Wawa and Elliot Lake are also available with our preschool speech and language program; if interested please contact us for more information.
