Speech-Language Pathologists
One or more energetic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to support preschool and school-aged children diagnosed with Autism (and/or other developmental disabilities). These are part-time Independent Contractor positions with flexible hours, and immediate availability. You would be working mainly in client homes in Mississauga, Oakville, and/or Milton.
New to Autism?
No worries 🙂 Job shadowing and dedicated on-the-job support is available, until you feel comfortable and ready! You can start with one client, on a day that suits you, and as you feel ready, you can take on more, or just stick to one!
Scheduling is a breeze!
Make your own schedule directly with the clients. Work on a day and time that suits you and your clients.
Starting salary:
$100.00-$130.00 per hour. Wage increases may be available as soon as 6 months after starting!!!
Clinical responsibilities include:
- Providing professional and excellent home-based face-to-face speech and language pathology services (consultation, screening, assessment, treatment)
- Collaborating with colleagues and client family members, as needed.
- Maintaining records in keeping with the standards of the College of Audiologists and Speech language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
Requirements include:
- 1-2 years experience working with children diagnosed with Autism is preferred, but support is happily given to those candidates who need it.
- Maintaining a CASLPO General Member registration in good standing
- Obtaining and maintaining a minimum of $2 million Professional liability insurance
- Maintaining access to a reliable vehicle and driving to client homes.
