About the job
An S-LP is an autonomous professional with expertise in typical development and disorders of communication, as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The S-LP may work directly with clients, their caregivers, or other persons who regularly interact with them to create environments that promote optimal communication.

Qualifications
- Full practising registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
- Valid BC Driver’s license where required
- For Adult SLP: One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- For Early Child Development SLP: One year’s clinical experience with clients in an early childhood development setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
