Kick Start therapy Inc has immediate requirement for a licenced Speech-Language Pathologist to join on permanent position. The Speech-Language Pathologist is part of the multidisciplinary team to support pediatric clients. We provide therapy at our center and in-home based on client preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform speech and language assessments to pediatric clients
- Use Internal/ external resources to develop individual treatment plan
- Must be empathize with clients in any situation
- Work with child and parents/ caregiver
- Provide training to parents/ caregiver
- Participate in continuous improvement process to bring efficiency in the client management and administration
- All other task as assign
Qualifications
- Must be CASLPO registered with good standing
- New graduate / Initial licence holders are welcome. We are open to mentor right candidate.
- Team player and ability to work with other professionals
- Ability to work with pediatric clients (0-18 years age group)
- Valid Driver licence
- Liability insurance and professional misconduct insurance
- Must possess sound judgement, honesty and integrity when working with clients
- Able to conduct assessments, create client profiles, and able to keep confidential information
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
