
Speech Language Pathologist – Full Time
KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff and 150 volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area. The Preschool Speech and Language Team has an immediate opening for a Speech Language Pathologist.
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessments and a range of interventions to preschool children with speech and language delays/disorders and promote the early identification of communication disorders in preschool children. They will also facilitate parental/caregiver participation and a parent training treatment approach to promote the development of early communication skills.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent and be eligible for registration with CASLPO. A Minimum of two (2) years experience with preschool and/or school age children, and parents/caregivers is also preferred.
