Our service areas include the Champlain Region which spans from the beautiful Lanark County and borders our South East region which includes the idyllic Leeds and Grenville area and surrounding areas and extends south to Hwy 401.

We are a service provider for Champlain and South East LHIN’s Home and Community Care Support Services and are proud to partner with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). CommuniCare’s allied health teams provide care and support to children and families who need home and school care services. We welcome all new graduates and provide supervision with robust support and mentorship.
More than 140 clinicians comprise our dynamic team of, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Registered Dietitians and Social Workers.
We have immediate opportunities for Speech-Language Pathologists to work part time or full time in the following programs:
Pediatrics Services
Champlain Region:
- Ottawa proper - bilingual an asset (not required)
Adult Services
Champlain Region:
- Ottawa west (Barrhaven, Nepean, Richmond) - NLNG (Kemptville, Oxford Mills)
- EC (Hawkesbury, Vankleek Hill)
South East Region:
- 401 corridors (Prescott, Brockville, Gananoque)
As an Independent Practitioner Speech Language Pathologist, you can expect:

Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent in education and experience.
- Membership (or eligibility for) with College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists.
- Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
We welcome new graduates with CASLPO Mentorship provided as needed.
