Job Description:

The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre is looking to expand their team of dedicated therapists! Located in the rapidly expanding community of Maple Ridge, BC, the RMCDC is seeking a speech-language pathologist with an interest in working with children aged 0-5 within a community-based setting. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Speech-Language Pathology and provide a range of services, including assessments, consultation, and both individual and group therapy. This setting offers opportunities to work with children receiving services from an interdisciplinary team as well as with children facing challenges solely in the realm of communication. This position loans itself well to clinicians looking to increase their experience within a team-based therapy model, individuals seeking clinical mentorship, those needing schedule flexibility, or to anyone with a deeply vested interest in providing high-quality communication intervention to children and their families. Come join a group of passionate, hard-working therapists who understand the value and need for work-life balance within a healthcare setting. Many of our current team members commute from across the Lower Mainland (e.g., from Coquitlam, Port Moody, North Delta, Vancouver, and North Vancouver) in order to practice within this supportive and innovative environment. A relocation allowance is also available for those wishing to relocate to this growing community. For more information about Maple Ridge and its unique lifestyle options, please visit https://www.mapleridge.ca/1326/Lifestyle. New grads are welcome to apply and this publically-funded setting does provide the opportunity for provincial student loan repayment qualification.
