This presentation is focused on bridging the gap between clinical audiology and educational audiology.  The roles of clinical audiology and educational audiology in the life of a child will be explored. This presentation will also provide a blueprint for supporting the clinical audiologist to provide a range of educational audiology services.

Learning objectives:

  1. Defining the roles of clinical and educational audiologists
  2. Describing the intersection of audiology roles while prioritizing the interests of the children with hearing loss
  3. Listing opportunities that may be pursued by a clinical audiologist in meeting the educational audiology needs for children and for schools
