The Members and Associates Officer is responsible for managing services for SAC's 6,000 members and associates. This includes recruiting potential members and associates, maintaining files and the database, facilitating the annual members and associates drive, liaising with provincial licensing and accreditation agencies and responding to member and associate enquiries.

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for leading the financial activities of the organization. This includes accounting, financial reporting (internally and externally), treasury functions as well as interfacing with bankers, auditors and other service providers. In addition, the CFO provides strategic advice to the CEO and management staff. He is also responsible for developing policies and management frameworks to mitigate organizational risk and ensure organizational health.

The Financial Coordinator is responsible for the association’s financial and accounting requirements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, financial statement preparation, etc. She supports the effective administration and financial functions of the association, as well as day-to-day accounting-related processes, maintenance and month-end reports in compliance with SAC’s governance policies and accounting procedures.

The Director of Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Health Assistants provides leadership and expertise in issues related to speech-language pathology and communication health assistants. Serving as SAC’s lead speech-language pathology content expert, the director acts as a resource to SAC staff, members/associates and the general public.  As part of the senior management team, the director develops and implements program initiatives that promote SAC’s position on professional issues. This Director also represents SAC on various national and international committees.

The part-time Speech-Language Pathology Advisor provides assistance, expertise and guidance to SAC staff, members and associates regarding speech-language pathology issues. She coordinates and facilitates special projects on issues relating to the profession, including the standards of practice; facilitates ad hoc committees and represents SAC on external partner committees as required; and evaluates internationally-educated speech-language pathology professionals applying for membership in SAC.

The Director of Audiology is the audiology resource for the national office. She evaluates internationally-trained audiologists seeking SAC membership and maintains a collaborative relationship with related organizations such as CAA, CHHA and the federal third-party payers. This Director offers expertise and input to the SAC Board of Directors and committees and facilitates the development of key documents such as position papers.

The Director of Communications and  Marketing is responsible for spearheading and managing the strategic communications goals of SAC. This Director leads the communications team and works collaboratively with internal staff, external partners, corporate partners and media.

The Manager of Communications and Marketing plays a key role in the development and implementation of SAC's communications and marketing strategies. She helps manage the day-to-day operations of the communications department and leads the association’s annual Speech and Hearing Month Campaign. Working collaboratively with the communications team, she ensures that all promotional activities and materials are strategically conceived, diligently planned, effectively executed and measured against relevant benchmarks.
